Ina “Imeisha” Robinson was born and raised in Niagara Falls, NY. She’s been a resident of Atlanta, GA since 2008. She is passionate about all things related to racial justice, social change, and health equity. Imeisha has been a personal blogger for nearly a decade. She’s been a featured writer in many print and virtual publications. She is a sought after speaker participating in a variety of public events and appearing as a guest panelist across various digital media outlets.

Imeisha has over sixteen years of public health related experience with a focus on cross-cutting issues related to addressing health disparities. Her background is in behavioral science research methods, injury and violence prevention, public health program management, data analysis, and program evaluation methods. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Hampton University (Hampton, VA) and her Master of Public Health degree with a concentration in Behavioral and Community Health Sciences from the University of Pittsburgh (Pittsburgh, PA). She is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Public Health (DrPH) from the University of Georgia.

In her spare time, she enjoys writing, singing, baking, and traveling with her husband.
